5 Point Star Motifs

Tiny Star
Red Heart worsted weight yarn, Size H hook
Ch 4. Connect to form a ring.  
Star Arm: Ch 3. Sc in 2nd ch from hk.   Hdc in last ch. Sc into ring.
Repeat 4 more times. End off. Weave threads.

Medium Star:
Ch 5 and connect to form circle.
Star ARM: Ch 5. In 2nd ch from hk, 1 Sc. Hdc in next st. Dc into last 2 sts. Sc into circle.  Repeat ARM-  4 more times.
Connect to base of 1st ARM. End off weave threads.

Large Star
Red Heart worsted weight, With metalic quilting thread
H sized hook
Ch 4 and connect to form circle.
Round 1: Ch 1. 10 Sc into circle. Connect to beg ch.
Round 2: Ch 1 2 Sc into ea st. 20 Sc total. Connect to beg ch.
Round 3: Star ARM: Ch 6. In 2nd ch from hk, 1 Sc. Hdc in next ch. Dc into next 2 chs; Trc into last Ch.  Sk 3 Sc of Center Circle and Sc into 4th st.  Repeat ARM 4 more times.  Connect to base of 1st ARM. End off, weave threads.

Small Solid Star NEEDS SCAN
Ch 6. Connect to form circle.
Round 1:Ch 4. (3 Hdc into center of ring. Ch 1, Trc, Ch 1) 5 times. Connect to top st of beg ch.  End off and weave threads.

Double 5 Point Star NEEDS SCAN
Ch 6. Connect to form circle.
Round 1:Ch 4. (3 Hdc into center of ring. Ch 1, Trc, Ch 1) 5 times. Connect to top st of beg ch.
Round 2: Ch 4. (Dc into same st, Ch 1) 3 times. (Dc, Ch 1) 4 times into all other Trc. Sl St around beg ch. End off and weave threads.

Lacey 5 Point Star  
Ch 6. Connect to form ring.
Round 1: Ch 4 (serves as 1st Dc+Ch 1). (Dc, Ch 1) 11 times. Sl St around beg ch to connect.
Round 2: (Ch 3. Dc into next Ch 1 sp. Ch 2. Work Picot st. Ch 2. Dc into Base of Previous Dc.  Ch 3. Sc into next Ch 1 sp.) 6 times. Sl St into base of beg ch. End off and weave threads.
