Lemon and Lime Patterns

I used worsted weight yarn and an H sized hook.  You will need two medium to light shades of Green for the Limes.  I used a Bright Yellow for the Lemons.  Both will need white yarn for the hot pads.

My Scanner does not like Greens so, I did not  include photos of the Limes.  
The Lemon Slice Hot Pad has only 4 Rounds instead of the 5 indicated in the pattern instructions.

Coasters:
Ch 4. Connect to form ring.
Round 1: Ch 3 (1st Dc here and throughout).  Work 13 Dc into ring.  Connect to beg ch.
Round 2: Ch 3. Work 2 Dc into each st around circle.  Connect to beg ch.
Round 3: Ch 1. Sc in same st.  2 Sc in next st. 1 Sc & 1 Hdc in next st. 1 Hdc in next st. 1 Hdc and 1 Dc in next st. 1 Dc in next st. 1 Trc in next st. Ch 2 & sl st in 2nd ch from hk. Trc in same st. 1 Dc in next st. I Dc and 1 Hdc in next st. 1 Hdc in next st. 1 Hdc & 1 Sc in next st. (1 Sc in next st. 2 Sc in next st) 2 times. 1 Sc & 1 Hdc in next st. 1 Hdc in next st. 1 Hdc & 1 Dc in next st. 1 Dc in next st.  Trc in next st. Ch 2, & sl st in 2nd ch from hk. Trc in same st. 1 Dc in next st. 1 Dc & 1 Hdc in next st. 1 Hdc in next st. 1 Hdc and 1 Sc in next st. (1 Sc in next st. 2 Sc in next st) as needed to end this round.  Connect to beg ch and end off.  Weave threads.

Lemon/Lime Slice Hot Pad
Ch 4. Connect to form ring.
Round 1: Ch 3 (1st Dc here and throughout).  Work 13 Dc into ring.  Connect to beg ch.
Round 2: Ch 3. Work 2 Dc into each st around circle.  Connect to beg ch.
Round 3: Ch 3. 1 Dc in same st. * 1 Dc in next st. 2 Dc in next st. Repeat from * around circle. Connect to beg ch.
Round 4: Ch 3. 1 Dc in same st. * 1 Dc in next 2 sts. 2 Dc in next st. Repeat from * around circle. Connect to beg ch.
Round 5: Ch 3. 1 Dc in same st. * 1 Dc in next 3 sts. 2 Dc in next st. Repeat from * around circle. Connect to beg ch & end off.
Round 6: Fold Circle in half with wrong sides together.  Attach White Yarn at end of circle. Ch 2. Making certain to go through both halves of the circle, work 1 Back Loop Hdc into each st. Work 2 BLHdc every 4th or 5th st as needed to prevent curling.  Crochet around the half circle to sew sides together.  End off.
Round 7: Attach Yellow for Lemon or Darker Green for Limes in Beg Ch of white round. Ch 3. Work 1 Back Loop Dc into same st. Work 1 Back Loop Sc into each st around piece.  In last st, work 2 BLDc. End off and weave threads.

Whole Lemon/Lime Hot Pad
Make 2 Circles using these instructions:
Ch 4. Connect to form ring.
Round 1: Ch 3 (1st Dc here and throughout).  Work 13 Dc into ring.  Connect to beg ch.
Round 2: Ch 3. Work 2 Dc into each st around circle.  Connect to beg ch.
Round 3: Ch 3. 1 Dc in same st. * 1 Dc in next st. 2 Dc in next st. Repeat from * around circle. Connect to beg ch.
Round 4: Ch 3. 1 Dc in same st. * 1 Dc in next 2 sts. 2 Dc in next st. Repeat from * around circle. Connect to beg ch.  End off for 1st Circle.
DO NOT END OFF WHEN WORKING 2ND CIRCLE.
Round 5: Match 2 circles with wrong sides together.  Ch 1. Making certian to go through both circles: Sc in same st, & in next 6 sts.  (2 Hdc in next st. 1 Hdc in next st.) 2 times. Work 1 Hdc & 1 Dc in next st. Work 2 Dc in next st. Trc in next st. Ch 2, sl st in 2nd ch from hk. Trc in same st. 2 Dc in next st. 1 Dc & 1 Hdc in next st.   (1 Hdc in next st.  2 Hdc in next st) 2 Times. Sc in next 13 sts. (2 Hdc in next st. 1 Hdc in next st.) 2 times. Work 1 Hdc & 1 Dc in next st. Work 2 Dc in next st. Trc in next st. Ch 2, sl st in 2nd ch from hk. Trc in same st. 2 Dc in next st. 1 Dc & 1 Hdc in next st. (1 Hdc in next st.  2 Hdc in next st) 2 Times.  Sc in next 7 sts. Connect to beg ch. End off and weave threads.
